Midwest Block & Brick recently closed on Basic Block, whose 15-acre operation in Springdale, Ark., includes a four-at-a-time Tiger machine-equipped plant, sales office and 1,500-sq.-ft. masonry showroom. Basic Block serves northwest Arkansas, northeast Oklahoma and southwest Missouri markets, and will begin offering additional masonry products from sister Midwest Block plants, while extending showroom hours and staff expertise. The acquisition broadens the reach of Midwest Products Group, which through Midwest Block and other divisions covers building and hardscape markets in Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky and Tennessee.
