On the heels of its largest project ever, the 3,000-piece Dallas Cowboys Stadium, Heldenfels Enterprises, Inc., designated November an occasion for staff at its San Marcos (headquarters) and Corpus Christi, Texas, plants to celebrate 100 years in business. We have always practiced what we preached, stressing good stewardship by emphasizing core values of integrity, dependability and innovation, says CEO Fred Heldenfels IV. [Our] name is a badge of honor that has been earned by each generation through experience, hard work and dedication.

In 1909, brothers F.W. Fritz Heldenfels, Sr. and C.A. Heldenfels founded a lumber and materials business, expanding into shipbuilding at the start of World War I, followed by road construction. Over the past century, Heldenfels has touched practically every major construction arena in Texas, including expressways, bridges, subdivisions, industrial plants, office buildings, prisons, parking garages and military bases.

In 1995, F.W. Heldenfels III & IV formed Heldenfels Enterprises, Inc., now specializing in precast/prestressed for building, transportation and marine markets. The producer has targeted new construction areas, tackling large precast packages for Cowboys Stadium, plus the Houston Texans’ and San Antonio Spurs’ homes, Reliant Stadium and AT&T Center. A new Building Systems Division provides complete envelope solutions. We would like to expand our reputation as an innovative company that provides superior products, design/build capabilities and project management, affirms Fred Heldenfels IV.
