The company’s High Pressure Washout system reportedly offers faster cleanup time for 5 percent greater productivity and recoup on investment within months. The system features two or more European washout heads, each with four high-pressure jets that rotate and turn, spanning 360 degrees while washing upward and downward to clean all surfaces. In single- and twin-shaft mixers, offset installation of the heads eliminates the shadow behind shafts, the manufacturer emphasizes, ensuring a clean mixer with minimal manual effort.

Robust and durable construction includes a pump unit built on a galvanized frame; polyethylene water reservoir that will not rust, crack or leak (and allows two washout cycles before refilling); separate reservoir and high pressure pumps, permitting location in tight corners; and, a ventilated enclosure with safety disable switch. The kit includes a high-power, heavy-duty hand wash gun, suitable for general clean-up work and blasting deposits off hard-to-reach surfaces, supplied with 10-ft. hose and two-way valve. An extra two-way valve can redirect pressure to a second mixer, as needed.

The companion control system provides fully manual, timed washout, or remote control options, allowing inter-batch washout water to be used in subsequent mixing. The two-head, 20-hp assembly suits most operations; and, the three- or four-head, 30-hp system handles mixers of 10 yd. and larger. Scale-Tron
