Nineteen winning projects, comprising 12 buildings and seven bridges across the U.S., were named by independent industry experts among three separate judging panelsÛBuildings, Bridges, and Special AwardsÛfor the annual PCI Design Awards competition. Additionally, eight building projects throughout North America were cited for Honorable Mention.

Winning projects represented a broad range of building types, including offices, parking structures, schools, institutional buildings, stadiums, retail projects, multifamily residences, and custom solutions, as well as bridge structures in three span-length categories, plus pedestrian spans. The wide range of entries shows the versatility of precast concrete systems and the innovative ways in which designers continue to leverage precast concrete to meet real-world design requirements, affirms PCI President James Toscas.
