Towable with a welded steel frame and torsion bar suspension, midsize Canoga 113 mixers feature a cast iron ring and pinion drive system powered by a 1/2-hp TEFC [totally enclosed fan cooled] electric motor or a GX120 Honda engine. An easy-to-use dump mechanism provides control when discharging material. The heavy-duty steel drum measures 26 inches in diameter with a 16-in. opening.
The larger, towable Canoga 193 and 300 mixers feature a welded steel frame, torsion bar suspension, spring steel axle, and independent suspension for smoother rides, the manufacturer affirms. A tow-tongue equipped with a 2-in. cast-iron ball hitch ensures easy maneuverability, product engineers add. All have cast steel pinion gear for improved wear and durability, and the drum is constructed of 10-gauge steel with 1/4-in. bottom and 3/8-in. reinforcing ring for strength.
