Inspired by Pennsylvania Dutch craftsmanship, DutchCraft Foundation is a new manufactured stone veneer profile offered by StoneCraft Industries. An enhancement to residential or commercial buildings, product developers affirm, the substantial 8-in.-high profile in 18-, 24-, and 30-in. widths Û with hatched-line texturing Û delivers a look of rugged and enduring strength.

StoneCraft’s largest stone veneer profile, the DutchCraft pattern of large ashlar blocks allows a simple horizontal presentation that suits new or existing homes, commercial properties, and industrial buildings Û from schools to restaurants to retail centers. The new profile includes flats and corners.

On larger homes and commercial applications, DutchCraft contributes added dimension and a sense of impressive mass, while providing a softening touch. Detailing on the stone signifies the look of fine masonry, observes Jonathan Wiernengo, director of marketing for the Tapco Group, maker of StoneCraft.

As more homes feature mixed-material exteriors, the company adds, DutchCraft offers a versatile solution complementing fiber cement, stucco, vinyl shakes and shingles, as well as wood. It combines a naturally hefty stone appearance with possible components and styles ranging from Craftsman beams and brackets to French Provincial rooflines and brick construction.

DutchCraft’s palette of earth tones showcases a vibrant mix of cream, smoky brown and tan. Moreover, as a ÎgreenÌ building product, the veneer contributes to U.S. Green Building Council LEED credits. DutchCraft is backed by a limited lifetime warranty. Û www.stonecraft.com
