During its annual meeting at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), Murfreesboro, the Concrete Industry Management Program, National Steering Committee elected as officers: Michael Schneider of Baker Concrete Construction, chairman; Frank Craddock of Cemex, Inc., vice chairman; and, Michael Harlan of U.S. Concrete Inc., secretary/treasurer. Citing the experience and commitment they bring to the program, CIM Chairman Eugene Martineau noted, the officers will be at the forefront as we continue to improve and expand the program and prepare the next generation of leaders in the concrete industry.

A founding steering committee member and former U.S. Concrete chief executive officer, Martineau will become CIM executive director when the officers begin their terms July 1. He and the committee will oversee the charter, four-year degree program at MTSU; recent program extensions at Arizona State University, California State University, Chico, and New Jersey Institute of Technology; and, a degree program launch at Texas State University.
