Spancrete has acquired the industry’s first operator of its kind, MobileGreen Precast LLC, whose model of developing temporary plants near a project yields environmental benefits and construction savings by reducing transportation requirements and fuel consumption.

This proprietary technology provides a quick construction solution that minimizes its impact on the environment and reduces overall expenditures, says Spancrete Group CEO John Nagy. As well as giving Spancrete the opportunity to experience broader national reach, this solution expands our operations while providing precast manufacturing services to locations where it otherwise may be difficult.

MobileGreen Precast provides green solutions for contractors, owners and developers across the nation [and brings] a fluid and vibrant component to the standard precast model, affirms MobileGreen President Jeff Marek. Rural areas with a shortage of precast producers and erectors will benefit the most from the mobile solution, he adds, as will larger market customers who may have been forced to turn to alternative construction methods due to a high demand on existing precast plant capacity.
