Midwest Block has added production capacity and showroom and distribution assets with its recent acquisition of Hill Thomas in East St. Louis, Ill., and Glenstone Block Co. in Springfield, Mo. Hill Thomas brings a headquarters brick and masonry supply outlet, plus Shiloh, Ill., showroom to Midwest Products’ St. Louis businesses, Kirchner Block & Brick and St. Louis Retaining Wall. The Glenstone deal includes a headquarters block plant and Branson, Mo., retail outlet; a third location, in Camdenton, Mo., will be merged with Midwest Products’ existing property in nearby Osage Beach. Along with the Hill Thomas and Glenstone assimilation, Midwest Products has announced the rebranding of Nattinger Block & Brick to the carry the Midwest banner.
