Effective August 15, Grace will implement price increases up to 10 percent across its concrete and masonry admixture product lines, with potentially higher increases for specialty products. The company also has announced that the price of liquid pigments will climb by 10 cents a pound, as of September 15. Further price increase actions may be necessary, company officials note, depending on market conditions and price trends in raw materials like olefins, organic chemicals, and gypsum. We will offset a portion of this inflation through our ongoing productivity programs, but the exceptional nature of these cost increases has outpaced these programs and requires us to take this action, said Grace Construction Products President Andrew Bonham.
