Targeting a fully integrated business for mining and construction materials operators, Turn-Key Processing Solutions (TPS) recently acquired its largest supplier and fabricator, American Bin & Conveyor, Inc. Shorewood, Ill.-based TPS provides design, procurement and manufacture of mineral processing facilities, along with full construction services. Burlington, Wis.-based American Bin manufactures bulk material handling equipment for concrete and aggregate producers.
TPS President John Cross notes that the deal positions his company to take the next step in becoming the most competitive source of mineral processing facilities in North America, while also serving ready mixed and manufactured concrete, aggregate, asphalt and cement plant operators. TPS effected the acquisition through American Bin principals Chuck and Julian Alby, who as vice president and general manager, respectively, will continue to oversee the Burlington plant.
