Frank Kozeliski, P.E., of New Mexico-based Gallup Sand & Gravel has been appointed chairman of National Ready Mixed Concrete Association’s newly formed Pervious Concrete Promotion Subcommittee. A leading proponent of the pavement practice who has been supplying pervious concrete mixes for about 15 years, Kozeliski is a past NRMCA board member and chairman of the group’s Rocky Mountain Regional Promotion Council. An American Concrete Institute Fellow, he has chaired ACI Committee 211 (Proportioning Concrete) and served on ACI Committee 330 (Design & Construction of Concrete Parking Lots).
Operating under the NRMCA Promotion Committee, the Pervious Concrete Promotion Subcommittee will hold its first meeting in Las Vegas at The Venetian hotel complex, March 11, 8 Û 11 a.m. Û immediately in advance of the 2008 ConExpo-Con/Agg opening.
