Fabcon Inc.’s Savage, Minn., facility has achieved Plant Certification by the National Precast Concrete Association, recognizing high production and quality control standards. The Savage plant is one of two Minnesota precast wall panel facilities to achieve NPCA certification.

Established in 1987, NPCA’s national plant certification program aims to ensure a consistent industry benchmark as well as a standard of excellence among precast operations. The program involves a comprehensive review of all aspects of a plant’s production process. To achieve certification, participants must pass an initial inspection, after which certification is maintained by passing periodic, unannounced site inspections conducted by an independent engineering firm.

Fabcon has proven its commitment to producing high-quality precast products by attaining certification, observes NPCA President Ty Gable. Engineers, architects and contractors who specify NPCA certification and purchase products from certified plants are assured they are receiving products that come from an organization dedicated to the highest level of quality throughout the manufacturing process.
