Additionally, Wayne Weszka joined the company as manager of Hanson Precast Railroad Products, also part of the Northeast division.

After joining Hanson in 2006, Dustin Kruger served as commercial manager for northern California until his promotion. As the general manager of the Ontario facility, he will oversee day-to-day operations including production, sales and growing the business. In 2001, Markey joined Hanson with the company’s acquisition of Windsor, Ontario-based Fauteux Concrete Products, where he was employed as plant manager. His 36 years of concrete production experience include nearly three decades devoted specifically to pipe and precast: after starting out in the concrete industry as a production coordinator, he went to work for Detroit-based Superior Products Co. before joining Fauteux. Prior to his promotion, Markey was the general manager of Hanson’s operations in Wakefield, R.I., and Wauregan, Conn.

Weszka brings to his new position, based out of the Jessup, Md. facility, 35-plus years of railroad experience. Earlier, Weszka was a general manager for Maryland Midland Railway, where he was in charge of car repair, track maintenance, locomotive repairs and train crews. He oversees national sales of Hanson precast railroad products, including Premier Precast Concrete grade crossing.
