The National Ready Mixed Concrete Association has enlisted five individuals representing concrete materials, construction, academia and government agencies to keynote the 2007 Concrete Technology Forum, May 22-24 in Dallas. Joining conference leader and NRMCA P2P Steering Committee Chair Ken Rear (Heidelberg Cement Technology Center) will be Cornell University Professor Ken Hover, providing an overview of performance-based specifications from around the world; Federal Highway Administration’s Lou Triandafilou, presenting a FHWA High Performance Concrete Program update; Structural Services’ Eldon Tipping, examining advanced concrete floor construction methods; and, BASF Admixtures’ Joseph Daczko, reviewing ACI Committee 237’s Document on Self-Consolidating Concrete.

Over 50 technical sessions will present the latest developments, new construction techniques and product formulations that optimize high performance concrete. The symposium will culminate with a site tour in the Dallas area. An expo featuring companies that offer products and services for high performance concrete applications will be open during the conference.
