To showcase best uses of ready mixed in Wisconsin and Michigan’s Upper Peninsula (UP), the Wisconsin Ready Mixed Concrete Association and the Wisconsin Chapter of ACI International cosponsor the annual Concrete Design Award program, now in its 28th year. Award winners were determined by a distinguished panel of Wisconsin/UP educators and construction professionals.
This year, 19 categories were represented among a total of 79 winners, including owners, architects, engineers, contractors and ready mixed producers. An awards ceremony themed The Concrete World was staged early last month at SentryWorld in Stevens Point, Wis. Û a past Concrete Design Award winner.
