Dave Driscoll has been named account executive with Nevada Materials Service in Las Vegas. A 36-year employee with Nevada Ready Mix Corp., he will manage key accounts for NRM and Service Rock Products. Nevada Materials Service is a sales organization representing both operators. NRM is the oldest and one of the largest concrete suppliers in the Las Vegas market. Service Rock has been in the market since 1998, currently running 100 mixers and three plants.
Hanson Pipe and Precast‘s Longview, Texas, facility has received the Manufacturer of the Year award from the Longview Partnership, an organization of civic groups. In addition to its presence in Longview, the producer contributes to the community through several nonprofit organizations and events, including United Way, Michael Martin Murphy concert, and the Gilmer Jamboree and Kids Festival. Part of Hanson Pipe & Precast’s Grand Prairie, Texas-based South Central Region, the Longview operations will be moved in spring to a new production facility.
