Bomanite Corp. announces that Angel Llanes has assumed the role of director of Business Development, responsible for all aspects of National Specifications and Franchise Partner Licensing. Having served as a business development sales and marketing consultant to major global and domestic corporations prior to joining Bomanite, as well as the director of Latin America for what is now known as the International Surface Preparation Group, Llanes brings 25-plus years of executive team-building and business management experience.

Cemstone Products’ Thor Becken has been named 2007 president of the Aggregates & Ready Mix Association of Minnesota. ARM announced the appointment at its annual convention and Building Excellence Awards Banquet in Minneapolis. Since its founding in 1950, ARM has grown to a membership of 25-plus aggregate producers and 30 ready mixed producers from across Minnesota, plus more than 50 related associate member companies.

Portland Cement Association has named Jessica Hogle director of legislative affairs, where she will oversee PCA’s political action committee, PCA PAC, and represent the cement industry in a variety of Capitol Hill activities. Hogle’s experience in Congressional fundraising and consulting includes, most recently, an associate position at Campaign Financial Consultants, Washington, D.C. There she served as the national finance director for former Attorney General Sheldon Whitehouse’s successful Senate campaign against incumbent Sen. Lincoln Chafee (R-RI).
