Cim Auction Set For World Of Concrete 2007

Supporters of Middle Tennessee State University’s Concrete Industry Management (CIM) program will stage an equipment, product and service auction on Jan.

Supporters of Middle Tennessee State University’s Concrete Industry Management (CIM) program will stage an equipment, product and service auction on Jan. 25 at the World of Concrete in Las Vegas. Following the success of the 2006 auction that raised more than $250,000, CIM Marketing Committee Chairman Brian Gallagher (Structural Group) expects this year’s event will raise more than double that amount.

The 2007 CIM Auction will benefit CIM programs at Middle Tennessee State University, Arizona State University, New Jersey Institute of Technology, and the California State University – Chico. More than 75 items will be available to the highest bidder, including:

  • McNeilus/International concrete mixer truck

  • BASF admixtures

  • Command Alkon batch-control software

  • Enviroguard Û 10 mixer washout systems

  • Euclid Chemical Û training and materials

  • Grace Construction products

  • Holcim Û 10 truck loads of cement

  • Harley Davidson motorcycle donated by VSL and Baker Concrete

  • Mack Truck/U.S. Concrete ready mixed loads

  • Putzmeister portable grout and concrete pump

  • Sika admixtures and fibers

  • Somero Copperhead XD2.0 Laser Screed

  • Schwing Mechanical Ball Valve Pump

  • Terex Generator and Light Tower

  • Cemex 20 Loads of Cement

Among additional items on auction will be concrete saws, drills, mixers, formwork vibrators, scaffolding, safety equipment, screeds, jacks, rotary hammers, fiber transport systems, dust collectors, decorative concrete tools, water meters, pumps, generators, riding mowers, training sessions, laptop computers, camcorders, and Dallas Cowboy football and Indy 500 tickets.
