Continuing to promote cast-in-place, removable-form construction, the Concrete Homes Council‘s latest project profile showcases two high-rise, luxury condo tower developments in Panama City Beach, Fla. Together, the Laketown Wharf and Shores of Panama projects boast a record-setting pour of 281 residential units Û about 330,000 sq. ft. of concrete slabs Û placed in one month (March-April 2006).

Under simultaneous construction with Shores of Panama, Laketown Wharf will be a 23-story, mixed-use resort with commercial space, shops and restaurants among 765 luxury condos. The one- to four-bedroom units will range from 1,047 to 1,681 sq. ft. Shores of Panama, offering 468 ft. of Gulf of Mexico frontage, is also a 23-story residential tower, whose 710 luxury units range from 473-sq.-ft. efficiencies to three bedrooms encompassing 1,523 sq. ft.
