Sicoma North America has appointed Della King-McDonald director of sales and marketing. She will be responsible for marketing the Sicoma Strength line

Sicoma North America has appointed Della King-McDonald director of sales and marketing. She will be responsible for marketing the Sicoma Strength line of concrete mixing equipment, working directly with concrete producers throughout North America. Until recently, King-McDonald served for 12-plus years in various marketing roles at Degussa Admixtures. She is also a member of the National Precast Concrete Association, Precast/Prestressed Concrete Institute, and National Concrete Masonry Association.

Sika Corp. has appointed Rusty Winters director of Marketing, New Construction. He is responsible for concrete admixture and related product marketing throughout the U.S. Winters previously held management positions in technical services and contractor marketing with companies including W.R. Grace.

Separately, the company has announced start-up of its latest storage and distribution terminals dedicated solely to chemical admixtures. Located near Orlando, Fla., and Denver, Colo., the terminals allow what company officials note is the ability to respond more quickly and efficiently to customers in the Southeast and Rocky Mountain regions. The terminals will also enable Sika to support rapid growth in the U.S. admixture market, they add. The facilities are strategically located near existing customers and within close proximity to major interstates and highway routes.

Texas-based Kraft Energy Systems announces that J. McCoy Equipment Co. is now serving as its representative in the eastern Canadian provinces. Based in Ontario, McCoy will be equipped to handle curing needs of the area’s manufactured-concrete producers. Providing equipment solutions to the industry throughout North America for more than 20 years, McCoy specializes in the design and manufacture of custom concrete batch plants, production machinery, and molds.
