Argonics, Inc. has closed on a deal for Kryptane Systems, LLC of Louisville, Colo., whose polyurethane product offerings include precision rollers, casters, and springs. This will allow [us] a complete prototyping and hand-casting facility to produce Îone offÌ prototypes and proof-of-concept parts to current and potential customers as well as a precision parts division, says Argonics Vice President of Sales and Marketing Bob Airaudi. We are now able to offer customers low volume and hand-cast production parts as well as concept development, mold design, and product implementation with quick turn around.
Kryptane Systems has a 20,000-sq.-ft. facility with machine shop, tooling and mold department, and three precision pouring machines. Founded in 1994, Marquette, Mich.-based Argonics has applied its polyurethane production and fabrication technology to high-wear conditions in concrete batch plants and aggregate handling systems.
