Fabcon LLC recently promoted Dave Henderson to director of operations. Previously manager of operations, he is based at the company’s Savage, Minn., headquarters and will oversee companywide implementation of advanced manufacturing systems, automation and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Separately, Richard Poplstein was appointed general manager of Fabcon’s Grove City, Ohio, facility. He will oversee all facets of production and installation of VersaCore Plus precast wall panels for customers in the Ohio region. Poplstein joins Fabcon after serving five years as senior manager of process improvement at the Frazeysburg, Ohio-based Longaberger Co., where he managed the company’s process engineering, research and development efforts.
Nitterhouse Concrete Products, Chambersburg, Pa., has tapped Gregory Wright to provide additional precast sales coverage in the western Maryland, D.C., Virginia, and West Virginia areas. His main responsibilities will involve servicing new and existing clients and include personal consultation with developers, designers, and other construction professionals in the design and construction of precast/prestressed concrete structures.
