The National Ready Mixed Concrete Association has named Dan Huffman managing director, national resources. Formerly a senior national resource director primarily responsible for the Western U.S., he now heads NRMCA’s field promotion efforts of national resource directors Mike Zaldo, Vance Pool and Phil Kresge. He joined NRMCA in February 2003, bringing 25-plus years’ experience throughout the concrete industry, including positions with companies now part of Degussa Admixtures, Glacier Northwest, Headwaters Resources and Lafarge North America. Based in Portland, Ore., Huffman will continue to maintain and pursue national account relationships in the West.
