Rosetta Hardscapes salutes licensees for quality, skilled production and salesmanship

by Melissa Johnson

The end of the 2016 building season brought recognition of excellence for four wet cast hardscape unit producers licensed by Rosetta Hardscapes. The company presented Midwest Block and Brick, NewLine Hardscapes, King’s Material and RI Lampus Co. awards for outstanding projects during an annual summit meeting in northern Michigan. A call for entries in the first annual Rosetta Project Awards was issued in July, drawing 2,000-plus images for consideration. Projects were judged on effective leverage of the Rosetta product line, scale, creativity, quality, and overall salesmanship.

With a growing reach since 2007, Rosetta has crafted a full line of wet cast landscaping products, including retaining walls, patio pavers, fire pit kits and accessories. Products’ unique, natural appearance and easy installation make Rosetta an increasingly attractive option for landscape professionals across North America. The company is continuing to build a licensing program with producers equipped for wet cast or dry cast processes.www.rosettahardscapes.com

RI Lampus Co. in Springdale, Pa., topped this category by providing 4,000 square feet of Outcropping wall and 80 pallets of Outcropping corner block for an extensive, 26,000-gallon/hour waterfall at a local car dealership. When informed that the project installer was on a tight timeline, the producer decided to secure the bid by making product before the requested delivery date.

King’s Material of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, was recognized for commitment to growth of the Rosetta product line. By investing in the form fleet and using it efficiently, the King’s team was able to make enough Rosetta Kodah block to meet the customer’s every wish for a 2,000-sq.-ft. seawall and companion land side hardscape shown here. Thanks to this project and others like it, King’s Material is quickly becoming known as one of Rosetta’s top up and coming North American producers.

BEST RESIDENTIAL PROJECT

Recognized for most comprehensive use of Rosetta product, this project was submitted by East Coast producer NewLine Hardscapes in Doswell, Va. The Schmitz Residence patio project leverages three types of Rosetta pavers, two types of Rosetta retaining wall and a round fire pit. NewLine cast all product for the eastern Pennsyvlania project, which resulted in a welcoming and organic outdoor home environment.
