An NRMCA Research & Engineering Standards Committee survey under way gauges quality control staff expertise, materials and mix testing frequency, quality documentation, and lab equipment monitoring. Producers completing the survey—a multiple-choice application form on a spreadsheet, with May 31 deadline—can compare their systems to industry benchmarks and improve quality management processes as necessary. Survey responses of individual companies will be kept confidential while summarized responses are shared with all participants. Survey forms can be downloaded or obtained from NRMCA’s Karen Bean, kbean@nrmca.org.
