A new online information center for precast specifiers and users provides document downloads covering Connections & Fittings, Environment, Joints & Interfaces, and Lifting & Transportation, plus an “Ask Cliff” function to submit questions in confidence. Produced by J&P Building Systems Technical Director Cliff Billington, Key2concrete was created to offer guidance on best practice (not as a source of design information) and is set to include CAD file downloads and sustainability updates. Billington brings to the site 40-plus years’ of industry experience in precast beam & block or hollow core floor systems, double-tees, frames, and architectural cladding. A U.K. representative on European committees dealing with precast concrete, he developed Key2concrete.com in association with the British Precast Concrete Federation.
