Tom Flynn, president of Dubuque, Iowa-based Flynn Ready-Mix Concrete Co., has been named vice chairman of the 2011 ConExpo-Con/Agg Management Committee, charged with overseeing exhibit, seminar and other plans for the March 22-26, Las Vegas Convention Center gathering. A past (2000) National Ready Mixed Concrete Association chairman, he is joined on the committee by peers also holding that title: Henry Batten (2009), president of Concrete Supply Co., Charlotte, N.C.; Frank Craddock (2008), executive vice president Commercial, Cemex Inc., Houston; and, James Russ (2003), senior vice president, Essroc Cement Construction Materials Division, Stevensville, Md.; plus NRMCA board member Thomas Baird IV, director of Sales and Marketing, CONCO Companies of Springfield, Mo., and staff president Robert Garbini. Representation on the 22-member Management Committee is part of an agreement NRMCA (Con/Agg Show brand co-owner) secured in a transfer of primary show management duties to (ConExpo owner) AEM. Chairing the committee is Michael Haberman, president of Gradall Co., New Philadelphia, Ohio.
