The Martin Marietta board has elected Anne Lloyd executive vice president, a title in addition to chief financial officer and treasurer posts she has held since 2005 and 2006. Martin Marietta Chairman Stephen Zelnak, Jr., said the promotion reflects successful implementation of Sarbanes-Oxley regulatory compliance measures and productive automation across the company’s financial functions. “Most recently,” he added, “she proactively managed [our] capital structure in a way that has positively differentiated Martin Marietta from its competitors in a time of economic and financial stress.”

One of the highest-ranking female executives in construction materials, Lloyd was appointed vice president and controller in 1998, joining the aggregates giant after serving as a senior manager for Ernst & Young LLP.
