The recently incorporated Eastern Missouri Concrete LLC has closed on the assets of Concrete Resources Inc., a Columbia, Ill., ready mixed producer. The transaction includes the headquarters site plus four Missouri plants on the St. Louis market periphery (Hillsboro, Wentzville, St. Charles, Byrnes Mill). The buyer has brought on board Concrete Resources’ approximately 40-member payroll, and is transitioning the five properties and mixer fleet graphics to the Eastern Missouri Concrete brand.
