Oberfield's Inc. in Delaware, Ohio, closed 2006 with a deal for the operating assets of Columbus, Ohio-based Marble Cliff Block & Builders Supply. The transaction brings the buyer's concrete production network to seven operations — five in central Ohio (three Columbus, two Sunbury) and two in northwest Ohio (Lima and Fostoria). Oberfield's will use the Marble Cliff property to expand concrete block capacity, building material sales, and retail presence. The new location brings to seven the number of company sites with contractor and retail sales.
