Vertically integrated polymer and concrete admixture manufacturer Chryso Inc., Charleston, Ind., has expanded its geographic presence by acquiring Allen, Texas-based ProMix Technologies, a nine-year-old chemical admixture producer. Chryso officials note that the combined companies are positioned for growth and delivering improved service and innovations to North American customers. Chryso develops and manufactures admixtures, including third generation superplasticizers based on patented polycarboxylate and amino phosphonate polyoxyethylene technologies. Production capabilities enable the company to design admixture molecules based on customer specific materials and concrete performance needs.
