Owens Corning/OCV Reinforcements has transferred sales and marketing functions for its concrete-reinforcing fiber to Continental Manufacturing Co. Through its Rich Fiber Systems business unit, Houston-based Continental will oversee the OCV Specialty Reinforcements Group (SRG) product line, spanning Anti-Crak HD and HP AR glass fiber, FibraShield fibrillated and monofilament polypropylene fiber, as well as SteelPlus conventional steel fiber and Steel/AR glass blends. Rich Fiber, which has represented AR glass fiber since 2005, will assign sales of the additional products to existing staff and some SRG employees joining the Continental payroll in May. The fiber products will be available throughout the U.S. and Canada, stocked in eight Continental or Owens Corning facilities.
