Boral Material Technologies, Inc. recently opened a new materials and development laboratory in San Antonio. The 5,500-sq.-ft. facility concentrates on testing, quality control and new product development. Currently, a series of polycarboxylate products and a viscosity modifying admixture are under development. Staff members working in the new lab include Zhaozhou Zhang, Ph.D., manager of analytical services and development, and Shashiprakash Surali, Ph.D., quality control manager.
