BASF Admixture Systems has announced the MasterFiber line of synthetic fiber reinforcement as a fully integrated product offering. The initial line includes one fibrillated polypropylene and two monofilament polypropylene fibers.

“Fibers are a natural addition to our admixtures offering, as they provide additional ways for producers to enhance the long-term concrete durability and service life,” says BASF Product Line Manager Jim Reddy. “All concrete is susceptible to cracking, but our new line of synthetic fibers enables us to further help customers prevent the negative influences weather has on concrete during placing, finishing and curing.”
